Beach walk: Trou aux Biches → Mont Choisy
An easy, flat walk of about 3 km along the white sand of the north-west, from Trou aux Biches to the long casuarina beach of Mont Choisy.
From the public beach at Trou aux Biches, walk north along the shore: small stretches of deserted white sand between the hotels, a clear calm lagoon for swims, and then the long, casuarina-shaded crescent of Mont Choisy, very local at weekends with picnics and séga music.
About 3 km each way (1 h–1 h 15). Near the end there's a short rocky stretch with slippery, algae-covered rocks: take care.
- Flat and easy
- Swims all along the way
