Beach walk: Mont Choisy → Pointe aux Canonniers
Along the long, filao-shaded beach of Mont Choisy to the point of Pointe aux Canonniers, with its old lighthouse and coral coves.
Mont Choisy is one of the longest beaches in the north, shaded all along by filao trees. Walk north along the sand to Pointe aux Canonniers, where small coves, an old lighthouse and the ruins of a French battery look out over the lagoon towards Coin de Mire.
About 2 km each way: an easy walk to pair with a swim at Mont Choisy or snorkelling on its rocks.
- Shade all the way
- Coves of Pointe aux Canonniers
- Coin de Mire on the horizon
