Beach walk: Kite Lagoon → La Prairie
Continue the Le Morne beach walk east, along the south shore of the peninsula under the cliffs of Le Morne, to the picnic lawns of La Prairie.
From the Kite Lagoon at the tip of Le Morne, keep walking east along the south shore: the hotels give way to quieter beaches and filaos, with the vertical southern face of Le Morne Brabant above you and kitesurfers on the lagoon. The walk ends at La Prairie, where local families picnic on the grass at weekends.
About 7 km one way along the shore. Combine it with the walk from the public beach for the whole south side of the peninsula, and arrange a pick-up at La Prairie.
