Beach walk: Le Morne public beach → Kite Lagoon
Around the tip of the Le Morne peninsula on white sand, from the public beach past the hotels to the Kite Lagoon, with the mountain above you all the way.
Start at the Le Morne public beach and walk south along the lagoon, past the beaches of the Dinarobin and Paradis hotels, round the tip of the peninsula to the Kite Lagoon, where dozens of kitesurfers fly over the turquoise water (ION Club and the kite schools are here).
At the tip you look out towards One Eye, the famous expert wave on the reef, and on clear days you can make out the 'underwater waterfall' effect offshore. About 2.5 km each way: an easy hour there and back, with swims on the way.
- Le Morne Brabant above you the whole way
- Kitesurf show at the Kite Lagoon
- The tip of the peninsula, facing One Eye

- 💡 The kite zone is busy from late morning when the wind picks up: walk along the water's edge and don't swim in the kite area.
- 💡 Hotel beaches are public, but their loungers aren't.
