From Blue Bay public beach, follow the shore north along the marine park to Pointe d'Esny: a long, quiet beach of fine white sand facing Île aux Aigrettes, lined with villas. Behind it lies the Pointe d'Esny wetland, a protected mangrove and mudflat site.

About 3 km each way (45 minutes), flat and easy. Swim at both ends, and bring a mask: the lagoon is the clearest on the island.
