Eureka colonial house (Moka)
An 1830s Creole plantation house with 109 doors, period furniture, a garden going down to a river gorge with a waterfall, and a Creole lunch.
Eureka is one of the finest colonial houses in Mauritius, a large wooden 'maison de maรฎtre' with a wide veranda, built in 1830 and full of antique furniture and maps. Behind it, a path goes down through the garden to the Ravin, a river gorge with a small waterfall where you can swim.
