Bois Chéri tea fields walk
A walk through the island's oldest tea plantation, among neat rows of tea bushes in the green southern hills, before the factory tour and tasting.
Bois Chéri is the oldest tea plantation of Mauritius, on the cool, rolling hills of the south. Besides the factory and museum tour, you can walk in the plantation: tracks lead between the bright green rows of tea bushes, with pickers at work on weekday mornings and views over the hills and a lake.
Combine a short walk with the tour and the tasting at the chalet on the hill.
- Rows of tea bushes
- Pickers at work on weekday mornings
- Tasting with a view afterwards
