Flat Island (Île Plate) day trip
A day on the wild Flat Island off the north coast: an old lighthouse, empty beaches and some of the best snorkelling around the northern islands.
Île Plate lies about 11 km north of the island, next to its little sister Îlot Gabriel. It has a 19th-century lighthouse on its hill, wild beaches and a lagoon where catamarans and speedboats stop for snorkelling and a barbecue.
Most northern island trips stop at Gabriel; ask for one that lands on Flat Island too, or charter a speedboat for the day.
- Wild beaches and a lighthouse
