Snorkelling at Flic en Flac (Wolmar reef)
The closest good snorkelling to the villa: coral patches and reef fish at the southern end of Flic en Flac, reachable from the beach.
At the southern end of Flic en Flac, in front of Wolmar, the lagoon floor turns into coral heads and rocks full of life: parrotfish, butterflyfish, trumpetfish, moray eels and the occasional turtle. The best patches are 50β150 m out, in 1.5β4 m of water.
It isn't Blue Bay, but it's 20 minutes from the villa and free. Go in the morning when the water is calm and clear.
